I made a triangular koru logo a couple years back and decided to revise it. The koru (Māori for "loop" is a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond and symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace. The triangle represented the trinity (the father, the son and the Holy Spirit) which I base every aspect of my life on. The triangle, out of all shapes have the strongest base, they are considered the strongest shape because a triangular structure subject to strong forces only collapses due to material fatigue and not to geometric distortion. So if you combine both symbolism’s growth, strength, new life, the foundation of the logo is solid.
